Diary of a Project Monitor June 2022

I am writing this month’s diary in glorious sunshine.  As we approach the longest day of the year it feels like summer has arrived, just in time for our company’s sunflower growing competition!  This weather makes my job all the more enjoyable as I get to see many sites at their best.

I have had the pleasure of visiting some very high-spec builds over the last couple of weeks.  Firstly two executive houses in Caversham Heights near Reading.  Both plots boast very large gardens which is something I rarely see and really adds to the wow factor.  These executive homes are in their infancy but promise to be impressive once complete.

The second site that stood out was in Bampton (see below).  This bespoke development of six 4/5 bedroom detached stone “barns” is coming along nicely.  Again, these are seriously high spec houses set in a striking courtyard formation, some with beautiful views over the Oxfordshire countryside.  The developer has used slate and stone from a local quarry to create a traditional look that complements the rural surroundings.  Three of these beautiful houses are under offer already and I don’t think the remaining three will be available for long.
